Returns & Refund Policy – Living Waters Homestead

We want you to be genuinely happy with every order. Because we sell living creatures alongside physical goods, our return terms work a little differently depending on what you bought. Here's exactly how it works, in plain English.

🪱 Live Worms

Live worms cannot be returned. They can't survive a return shipment, so a return would simply harm the animals without helping anyone. Instead, live worms are protected by our Live Arrival Guarantee:

  • If your worms arrive dead, contact us within 2 hours of the carrier's final "Delivered" scan with a clear photo or video showing the worms, the original packaging, and the shipping label.

  • Once verified, we'll send a one-time replacement per order at no cost to you.

  • Refunds are not issued for live worms, and claims outside the 2-hour window or showing negligence (extreme temperature exposure, delayed pickup, or improper storage) are not eligible.

📦 Worm Castings, Worm Tea & Other Non-Live Products

Unopened, unused non-live products may be returned within 14 days of delivery for a refund of the product price (original shipping is non-refundable). To start a return, contact us with your order number and we'll walk you through it. Return shipping is the customer's responsibility unless the item arrived damaged or incorrect.

🛠️ Worm Bins, Kits & Accessories

Unused equipment in its original condition and packaging may be returned within 14 days of delivery for a refund of the product price. Items that have been used, assembled, or are missing parts may be eligible for a partial refund at our discretion. Contact us before shipping anything back so we can confirm eligibility and provide return instructions.

Damaged or Incorrect Items

If a non-live item arrives damaged or you received the wrong product, contact us within 7 days of delivery with a photo of the issue. We'll make it right with a replacement or refund, including any return shipping costs on us.

💵 How Refunds Are Issued

Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method. Please allow 5–10 business days for the refund to appear after we've processed it, depending on your bank or card issuer.
