Composting Worms
Pure Composting Worms — No Mixed Stock, No Compromises
If you've ever bought composting worms that underperformed in your bin, species purity is likely the reason. Mixed-species lots and mislabeled stock are common across the worm industry — and they produce inconsistent results. Every worm we sell is 100% pure, true-to-species stock from established, high-volume colonies.
We carry two species, each with distinct strengths:
- Pure Red Wigglers (Eisenia fetida) — the gold standard for vermicomposting. Red Wigglers process organic waste faster than any other composting worm, reproduce quickly in a well-managed bin, and produce rich, biologically active castings. If you're building a home compost system or scaling an operation, Red Wigglers are your foundation.
- Pure European Nightcrawlers (Eisenia hortensis) — larger, cold-hardier, and dual-purpose. European Nightcrawlers compost effectively across a wider temperature range, making them ideal for outdoor bins in North Texas winters. Their size also makes them one of the top live bait worms for fishing.
All worms are shipped Monday through Wednesday with live arrival as the standard. Wherever you are in the lower 48, your worms arrive healthy and ready to work.
Not sure which species is right for you? Red Wigglers for indoor or warm-weather composting. European Nightcrawlers for outdoor setups, cooler climates, or if you want a worm that pulls double duty on the fishing line.
